I am happy to endorse and support my friend, Susan, for Colorado House District 35. Having served with her as an affordable housing commissioner for the housing authority, I can say that there is none better for this seat. I continue to admire her work, vision, and unparalleled understanding of environmental issues and their intersection with the built environment. Susan is a true community partner and regional leader with a heart for people. She has an understanding of the issues that matter most to everyone, across the political spectrum, in Fort Collins!

In this time of division and polarization, we need bridge-builders (and sustainable development visionaries) like Susan in roles like State Representative more than ever. 

I am pleased to learn that Sue McFaddin is applying to serve in the Colorado Statehouse. She is well known in the community for being whip-smart, extremely well educated (Ph.D from Colorado School of Mines in Engineering), and well-versed in the most challenging issues of our time; energy, education, and transportation. She has taught in post-secondary education, (Front Range Community College and Colorado State University) and has three children who are PSD graduates.
She is focused, competent and energetic, and will bring a great wealth of experience to the Colorado Statehouse.

As an engineer, Sue knows how to build bridges. She knows how to fix stuff and she knows how to solve problems. These skills are sorely needed these days, as we all know. ​I urge my fellow Democrats to support Sue McFaddin for House District 35.
